This tool builds your password with the browser's secure crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues) — the same quality of randomness real security tools use — and it never leaves your device. Nothing is typed, stored, or sent anywhere; close the tab and it's gone.
What makes a password strong
Length beats cleverness. A 16-character random password is astronomically harder to crack than a clever 8-character one, so keep the length at 16+ and leave digits and symbols on. Ambiguous characters like l/1 and O/0 are already left out, so what you see is what you type.
